Calling All Healthcare Professionals: Join iCON as an Event Speaker

Are you passionate about advancing healthcare in your community?

UBC’s interCultural Online Network (iCON) is looking for healthcare professionals like you to join as event speakers!

As part of the B.C Ministry of Health’s Patients as Partner Initiative, iCON supports transforming health equity for older adults in British Columbia that belong to multicultural communities. iCON aims to provide information on chronic disease management that is culturally relevant to these communities and employ digital tools to make healthcare more accessible. iCON’s work bridges critical gaps in healthcare, while also partnering with health authorities to advocate cultural safety for the Indigenous communities.

Workshops can be delivered virtually, in-person or in a hybrid format, with in-person sessions generally held in the Metro Vancouver area.

How iCON Supports You

iCON collaborates closely with each event speaker to develop their presentations and integrate workshop logistics, ensuring you feel fully supported every step of the way. Also, an honorarium will be provided to recognize your time and contribution.
