The virtual Indigenous Health Round, title “Indigenous Patient Experience in Health Care” took place on November 4, 2022, organized by iCON and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Indigenous Health.

We were honoured to have Elder Xwechtaal Dennis Joseph and Lori Quinn join us in circle for this webinar to share their knowledge on Indigenous patient experience in health care.

 

This activity was an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by UBC CPD. You may claim a maximum of 6.0 hours for up to 6.0 Mainpro+® credits. Each physician should claim only those credits accrued through participation in the activity.

 

The Indigenous Health Round is organized by VCH Indigenous Health and UBC iCON (Department of Emergency Medicine), and supported by the B.C. Ministry of Health Patients as Partners Initiative and the Vancouver Physician Staff Association.
